Rhodes has been a proud AVID school since 2006. Together we have made many college dreams come true. We look forward to your involvement in AVID. Come by and see us today! We look forward to meeting with you.
Students have tutorials twice a week. During tutorials, students are placed in groups and work through areas and points of confusion in their classes. During this time, students are assisted by college tutors, who help them to get through the struggles. The point of this is for students to work together to learn the processes to get them past their point of confusion. Tutorials are not one-on-one tutoring. At the same time, this helps ALL students to learn the necessary academic skills as they proceed through high school and college.
